Our freshwater trips range from 2 hours to 8 hours.
Our freshwater trips range from $200 to $600.
Yes, children are always welcome! We love helping families make lasting memories on our trips. However, please note that children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
No, we never combine clients on trips. The boat is entirely yours for the full duration of your trip.
We ensure that our boat is clean and free of obstacles during your trip. We have life vests for everyone and a first aid kit on board.
Yes, you are responsible for obtaining the proper state of Florida fishing license prior to coming on our boat. This can be done online at https://myfwc.com/license/ or in person wherever Florida fishing licenses are sold.
We welcome clients of every skill level from beginner to advanced. If this is your first time giving angling a try, just let us know and we will make sure to provide all trip-specific information and any recommended practice beforehand. For questions about trip specific gear, techniques, etc., please give us a call.
We provide all fishing gear but you are welcome to bring your own if you'd like. On freshwater trips specifically, we use medium light Megabass spinning rods and 2500 size Shimano spinning reels. We have found this combination to be perfectly suited to using live bait and smaller artificial lures for peacock bass, largemouth bass, and other species.
We recommend comfortable, quick-drying, sun-protective clothing and non-slip shoes. Don't forget your hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen! A waterproof bag is also recommended to protect your personal belongings.
We provide bottled water and have extra cooler space for any drinks and snacks you might like to bring.
For freshwater trips, there are occasional opportunities for restroom breaks at business locations along the water.
We fish in the rain! Often times a rain shower can be the best time to be on the water. Rain signals a drop in barometric pressure which triggers a feeding response in fish of all species. Unless there is lightning in the area or other life threatening conditions, we will remain on the water. We encourage clients to push through rain showers as they often blow through quickly. However, if a client prefers to cut the day short due to rain without lightning or hazardous conditions present, refunds will not be available. Trips canceled mid-trip due to lightning or hazardous conditions at the captains discretion will be given a pro-rated refund based on hours spent on the water and hours remaining. As always, the safety of our clients is our top priority and no fish is worth risking life or injury.
Yes, we want our clients to have peace of mind that they are protected on every trip.
In the case of ACCIDENTAL loss or damage of gear by a client while on your trip, repair or replacement will be handled at the discretion of the captain. In the case of INTENTIONAL loss or damage of gear by a client during your trip, repair or replacement will be required to continue your day on the water with us. If a client who has INTENTIONALLY lost or damaged any gear or property is unwilling to resolve such issue, the trip will be terminated and clients returned to the appropriate location where they were picked up. Clients will be required to pay for the amount of time spent on the water at the time they are returned to their location of origin.
We accept payment via cash, Zelle, or Venmo.
To secure your date, a non-refundable $100 deposit is due immediately and the remainder is due at the conclusion of your trip.
The $100 deposit is non-refundable. However, you are welcome to move your date as often as you need. The deposit will be honored indefinitely but it is up to the client to show proof of payment. In the event of life threatening weather or if the captain cancels the booking, your deposit will be refunded.
Fishing Guides work in the service industry and our number one priority is to make sure our clients have an enjoyable experience. It is customary to tip twenty percent but is never required.
